The DAAD is the world’s largest funding organization for the international exchange of students and researchers. But its activities go far beyond awarding scholarships. The DAAD promotes transnational cooperation, the internationalisation of German universities, strengthens German studies abroad and maintains a global network of regional offices and information centres.
