We are looking for a talented Junior Database Administrator to join our team of IT professionals.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and tuning database performance
- Backups(Oracle RMAN backups & Sybase backups)
- Restore databases
- Managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes, and views
- Managing the database’s storage structures, users, security, and privileges.
Requirements
- BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification
- Strong knowledge of Database administration (Oracle, Sybase).
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Good knowledge of Unix OS (Linux, AIX)
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
