ROLE SUMMARY
Are you interested in being at the forefront of Pfizer’s digital transformation? Are you an individual that thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment? The Analytic Innovation team within Pfizer’s Analytic Informatics and Business Intelligence drives rapid prototyping and design thinking to develop and scale new innovative analytic capabilities. The analytics platform support engineer will be part of this high performing team to help develop and build the Advanced Analytics Platform that will accelerate analytics-informed decision making across the enterprise.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide data and software engineering support to turn ideas or specifications into platform features
- Ability to tackle diverse problems that range from platform performance to usability
- Assist in researching and testing new technologies and approaches
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in an Engineering or advanced analytics field
- Working proficiency with a programming language (R, Python)
- Experience working with SQL and relational database
- Proficiency with Unix and Unix shell scripting
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a curiosity for learning new technologies/ approaches
- Familiar with technologies such as Angular.JS and React.JS
