YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role as a Senior Full Stack Java/Angular Developer will focus on the delivery of client engagements, by understanding objectives for clients and Deloitte, aligning your own work to objectives and setting personal priorities, teaming with others across businesses and borders and taking accountability for own and team results. In this role, you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills in order to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth, you will share knowledge and experience with others, and act as a strong brand ambassador, embracing our purpose and values in order to put these into practice in your professional life.
During your tenure as a Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:
- Build and contribute domain thought-ware for use by the network
- Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and develop informed recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy
- Address client business challenges in the intersection of process and technology
- Produce a high quality work product and collaborate with others to deliver a superior client experience
- Deliver key messages with clarity, confidence and poise to instill confidence in clients
- Incorporate financial information when evaluating strategic options
- Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem solving
- Understand how business functions operate and how sector trends impact a client’s business
- Organize insights and define a logical flow to tell a story when presenting recommendations
- Design and develop robust, scalable, high performing, high-volume production applications with users across the globe
- Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs and engineering processes.
- Serve as the technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods
- Strong visual design sense and appreciation for developing with a client experience focus
- Develop and share reusable assets that can be readily applied to new projects
OUR REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the role you must have:
- University Degree in Computer Engineering / Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field
- Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering / Science
- At least 3-5 years of Front-end Coding and Design (Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, and libraries or frameworks such as React, Backbone)
- At least 3-5 years of Back-end Coding and Design in Java (Java Spring Boot, Spring Core)
- Thorough understanding of CSS/HTML and modern page layout techniques
- Experience with responsive layout and design, preferably with Bootstrap framework
- Strong debugging skills on Developer Tools of the browser and Working with Cross Browser UI
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect web applications to backend services
- Agile/SCRUM Software Development Process experience will be considered a plus
- Analytical and project management skills
- Experience in Financial Services Sector will be considered a plus
- Ability to help clients maximize the potential of analytics and information to support their business objectives
- Ability to design data-based solutions that enable the client’s technology agenda, and communicate market trends and potential impacts effectively to the client
- Ability to define a structure to help clients manage data to better deliver information and insights to improve organizational performance
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills in English
- Military obligations fulfilled for male candidates
- Experience in Financial Services or Insurance Sector will be considered a plus
