Social Media Manager 

Our organization is looking for a savvy social media manager. You’ll be an integral part of our mission to spread information and striking posts to the world. We cover various functions and we need your contribution. We would love to post our work on the social media. We want you to be comfortable with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. You need to have a good eye in details. If you’re passionate about the job and can think of ways to add creativity to your work, we’d like to meet you.

Activities:

  • Develop relevant content topics to reach the organization’s target groups.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way.
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for promotion.
  • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
  • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
  • Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
  • Become an advocate for the organization in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal followers online reviews.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

Experience:

  • Possesses knowledge and experience in all social media platforms. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining relationships, online and off.
  • Practices superior time management.
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
  • Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.

 

Camera Operator  and video editor 

Our organization is looking for a competent Camera Operator to capture high quality and attractive images for our internet TV. You’ll be an integral part of our mission to spread information and striking visuals to the world. We cover events and we need your contribution. A camera operator has a steady hand and quick reflexes. We want you to be comfortable around expensive and delicate equipment as well as able to concentrate and attend to detail. If you’re passionate about the job and can think of ways to add creativity to your work, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the journalists to determine all aspects of shots during interviews
  • Provide practical and creative input to scene planning
  • Select, assemble and position equipment (cameras, stands, software etc.)
  • Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements
  • Shoot scenes according to requirements
  • Capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position
  • Collaborate with make up artists, lighting and sound staff to produce the best final effect
  • Resolve technical or practical issues
  • Edit footage as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as camera operator
  • Experience operating relevant equipment (cameras, cranes etc.)
  • Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage
  • Ability to understand and follow camera scripts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think and act quickly
  • A team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent color vision and hearing
  • High school diploma; degree in film, media or relevant field is a plus
