We are currently seeking to recruit for our IT Department a:
Junior IT Support Technician
(Part time)
The Junior IT Support Technician is responsible for assisting clients with their technical queries in a timely and friendly manner, providing a unique customer experience. In this role, you will be expected to quickly detect and resolve any issues that may come up (software and hardware malfunctions). The Junior IT Support Technician should provide quality support on-site, via telephone, e-mail, web or any other available channel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install PCs, wireless networks, and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on Windows Servers and terminals.
- Participate in installing and maintaining network structure, telephone systems, and peripherals.
- Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software/hardware applications, as well as network systems.
- Prepare on-time progress reports to clients and senior management.
- Provide advice and guidance in relation to incidents.
- Support all clients on software and hardware issues in a clear way by explaining technical issues.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field will be considered an asset.
- Desirable previous experience of 1st level and/or 2nd level support will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both oral and verbal.
- Excellent computer literacy and ability work with specialized software (Microsoft, Office 365, iOS and Android devices, ITIL systems, VPN solutions).
- Basic understanding of web hosting services.
- Ability to cooperate effectively with the team members.
- Energetic, consistent, and reliable personality with excellent analytical skills and customer-oriented perception.
- Military service obligations fulfilled for male candidates.
