DESCRIPTION

ActionAid is an international, non-governmental, development organization. We work with over 15 million people in 45 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice. Our vision is to create a world, in which every person enjoys their right to a life with dignity. We work on a local, national and global basis with poor and excluded people, to eradicate poverty and injustice.

Applicants must have at least three (3) years of professional experience preferably in an NGO environment, as well as in research and advocacy programs. Specifically, the selected candidate will be requested to design and implement a deep policy analysis and research on women’s rights, support other AAH research projects and undertake lobbying, policy influencing and advocacy actions. Furthermore, he/ she will manage and deliver campaign related priorities and plans, including the development of communication material. The ability to value stakeholders’ perspectives, along with domestic or international laws and legislations, in order to provide relevant advice will be highly appreciated.

Interpersonal and project management skills with the competence to work under strict deadlines is expected. Excellent use of the Greek and the English language (both oral & written) is mandatory. Being in accordance with ActionAid’s vision and principles is required.
