Information Security Engineer  (1700005F)
Description

 Belonging to the ICT & Managed Services Technical Division, the Information Security Engineer will join the IT Network & Security operations team of UniSystems operating at the customer’s site(London,UK).

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing the assigned technology stack, based on the post and activities allocated.
  • Takes immediate action to limit damage, according to the organization’s security policy, which may include escalation to next level, and records the incident and action taken;
  • Configures and apply security controls, as required by organisational policy and risk assessments to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of assets;
  • Overall management and analysis of security breaches and incidents, including remedial action and appropriate reviews to prevent recurrence;
  • Completes adequate security tests as required;
  • Ensures that the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the services are maintained and conform to any statutory requirements;
  • Administration, Maintenance and Support of the infrastructure security systems.
  • Experience of working with senior management and presenting complex issues;
  • Knowledge in IT Service Management and/or Risk frameworks, and/or international standards;
  • Ability to analyze complex information;

Reports to the IT Network & Security Team Leader. 
 

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of a University/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline 
  • Master’s Degree in Information Security will be considered as a plus.
  • Hands-on expertise in solutions areas of Operations Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, IDS-IPS, NAC, PKI, Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management, Mobile Device Management, Two Factor Authentication and PKI, will be consided an asset
  • Ability to work both independently and within multi-disciplined teams.
  • Excellent use of English language (verbal & written).
  • Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated supervisory abilities.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).
  • Availability for at least  7 month relocation in London.
